Dina Nayeri is an Iranian-American novelist, essayist, and playwright. She teaches writing at the University of St Andrews. A former refugee, she has explored the refugee experience in her work, earning international acclaim and publication in more than twenty countries. Beyond displacement, her work explores the dramatic lives of flawed people.
